![]() So far, I’m thrilled to announce that two language rights have already sold! Dreamfall will be coming to Turkey and Hungary. I would still recommend this game and I hope to see more interesting stuff from Red Thread in the future.Welcome to the DREAMFALL book page, which I’ll be adding stuff to as the news rolls in. I would've REALLY like to know how the two (or three, depending on your choices) of them managed to change the entire political structure of the country and eradicate the conspiracy (that already has deep and strong roots, btw) ':D and then we just watch a cutscene where he already succeded. I mean, Kian just sets himself on freeing his nation back in Sadir from lies and conspiracies. The very ending of the game feels kinda rushed and it felt like there should've been a forth game. not everyone is set to play a game back from 1999 and then a game back from 2006 just so they would understand this one. This sets a high entering threshold for new players, coz. "Dreamfall Chapters" answers a lot of questions that were set in two previous games, so you probably won't understand most half of it if you play DC as stand-alone game. Its not complicated once you read about it, but still. And it requires a very specific thing to be set on your Windows in order to be fixed. Second game is back from 2006 and is playable (kinda), so you can go through it to understand who is Zoe and why she is important (there is also a video that explains the plot of the second game, but I recommend to play it so you can relate properly to Zoe and Kian).ģ. ![]() First game was released in 1999 and is literally unplayable on WIN 10 and 11, but there are videos about it that explain plot, so you can get at least an understanding on who the hell is April and why she is important (also Crow. When I started playing, I didn't understand, why game behaves like I should already know who are all those ppl, why I should already care about them, who is Zoe, why Na'ane is considered to be a traitor, who is Kian and why HE is so important, who he betrayed exactly and why, who is April Rayan and why she is so important too, etc, etc.īUT. This game is the last one in trilogy and you MUST know what happened in previous two (to play both is even better) in order to understand whats going on and start to relate to characters. Graphics are kinda outdated by a lot, so be ready to deal with it.Ģ. There are also some serious cons to this game.ġ. It doesn't seem pushed into player's face on every corner, it just.exists there. Not something mind-breaking, they all are pretty simple if you think a little, but they felt nice.Īlso, I don't understand all the players complains about existence of gays in Arcadia world. All this "BALANCE SHIFTED" thing felt so serious, nice design there! There is no fighting gameplay (it was in previous game, it was awful and THANK YOU "Red Thread" for removing it).Ĭhoices and consequences system - not perfect, but I really liked it and it felt like choices make difference. I seriously cringed only once (some dialog between Sahya and Vamon, you know if you played). Some blunt ♥♥♥♥-jokes are funny too, unexpectedly, and at least one of them you won't get if you didn't play previous game. While plot is not something too original, its still captivating.ĭialogs are good and full of nice light-hearted humor (especially with Crow). I liked all the switch-character thing too, really refreshes the perspective. ![]() I like the setting and the lore and I really would like to know/play more in this world (even if without shifters and dreamers involved), tho I understand its a central pillar of gameplay.
